Horse Safari in Rajasthan is our way to give you the taste of real culture of Rajasthan which is embedded in every road side village and also to bring alive the days of aristocracy with the elaborate ritual of the Maharaja’s great hunting safari with unwieldy tents, mobile kitchens, camp fires, minstrels and dancers for the pleasure of all; the rhythm and ceremony of more decorous times.

Day 1: Welcome to Delhi
Welcome to the political and Cultural Capital of India … Delhi. Traditional welcome at the airport by our representative and escorted to your hotel. Day free to relax, get over the jet lag and enjoy the night life in Delhi. Contemporary Delhi is a bustling Metropolis which successfully combines in its fold The Ancient & The Modern India.
Day 2: Delhi - Mandawa (250 km from Delhi, 4-5hrs drive)
After a leisurely breakfast full day sightseeing tour of Delhi where ornate buildings recall the days when India was the Jewel in the crown of the British Empire. Visit the 11th century Qutab Minar, India Gate and the grand government buildings, the President's House, Mahatama Gandhi Memorial and also visit Laxmi Narayan temple popularly known as Birla Temple. After lunch we leave for a five hours drive to Mandawa. On arrival check in to the hotel and freshen up. An interesting dinner under the stars with the Rajasthani cultural folk music and dances awaits you.
Day 3: Mandawa - Nawalgarh (28 km from Mandawa, 0.5-1hr drive)
After breakfast check out of the hotel and sightseeing of Mandawa, a small and bustling town in the Shekhawati region lying north of Jaipur. Its importance lies in the splendidly frescoed havelis or mansions- mostly constructed by the prosperous merchants, between the 18th and 20th centuries. After the sightseeing drive to Nawalgarh and check in at the heritage hotel. This evening get accustomed to the Marwari horses and the horse riding terrain. Overnight at Nawalgarh.
Day 4: Nawalgarh – Lohargal (32 Km from Nawalgarh)
Today we begin with our first day of Horse Safari. Passing through the villages our first stop will be Parasrampura which is a town 20 km southeast of Nawalgarh. Here we will break for lunch and then continue our safari to Lohargal. Lohargal has great historical importance – regarded as the place of Bhim, one of the heroes of the great epic of India – the Mahabharata. The holy shrine of Lohargal is situated at the foot hills of the Aravalli Ranges. Other tourist attractions worth visiting include Malket, Barkhandi, Gyan Bawari, Bhim Kund and Chetan das Bawari. A large fair, held here every year from Krishna Janmashtami to Amawashya, is a major draw. Enjoy your dinner under the stars and overnight in the tents.
Day 5: Lohargal - Sujas (38 Km from Lohargal)
After breakfast we start early to avoid too much sun and break on time at Rewasa for lunch. After a nice fulfilling packed lunch and some rest we continue our safari to the final destination of the day Sujas. Here we already have our brigade of jeeps, trucks and carts getting ready with the tents for us to freashen up. Yet another evening full of entertainment from the local Rajasthani musician and dancer along with a sumptuous dinner.
Day 6: Sujas - Ramgarh (35 Km from Sujas)
On our way to Sulvas in Ramgarh, we stop on the way in the villages exploring the life style of the people in that region and interacting with them on one to one basis. There couldn’t be a better way to know the culture and life of Rajasthan. Share and learn Indian cosmetic techniques like Henna application for the ladies from the local folks. Every day of the Safari gets you closer to the life style of the local people and to their hearts.
Day 7: Ramgarh - Shyamgarh (30 Km from Ramgarh)
Today we will be covering a distance of thirty kilometers reaching our destination Shyamgarh by sunset. On the way, you will pass through village Ghatwa. Here a famous battle had taken place between Rao Shekha and Gour Rajputs, where twenty five thousand men laid their lives. This place is still known as Godati or the area of Gaurs, the erstwhile rulers. From a high sand dune adjoining the mountain ranges, you can have a breathtaking view of the five famous forts of this region. Daily message in the evening after the whole day of horse safari is a bliss and helps rejuvenate the body and soul for the next day.
Day 8: Shyamgarh - Nawa (42 Km from Shyamgarh)
Our todays destination is Nawa. We will passing Bhagwanpura and after covering a distance of 42 Km will reach Nawa – The Salt Lake. This ride is the most picturesque part of this Safari. After lunch you can have ride around this salt lake and enjoy the beautiful sunset. Overnight stay at the camp.
Day 9: Nawa - Salemabad (45 Km from Nawa)
Today you will ride through the Salt Lake for 8 to 10 km and then follow a stony track along mountain ranges till Paner, where you will have your lunch. After having lunch you will ride to farming and Sheep County to reach your camp at Salemabad. This was the territory of the erstwhile Maharaja State of Kishangarh. The remaining Ajmer region was ruled directly by the British. In the evening enjoy the campfire along with the discussion sessions sharing the experiences with each other during the safari. Overnight stay at the camp.
Day 10: Salemabad - Mayapur (35 Km from Salemabad)
Our ride will be through a more fertile land and farms where we would be able to spot the farmers working in the fields. Most farmers are from Gujar community with colourful dresses. We might also be able to observe the primitive means of agriculture still being used in India. After having lunch, we will ride into a valley and pass through a mountain pass and ravines to reach your last campsite at Mayapur. Overnight stay at the camp.
Day 11: Mayapur - Pushkar (25 Km from Mayapur)
Today we ride to our final destination of Pushkar. Here the terrain is a bit hilly but we can still spot quiet a few shrubs; also the typical Pink Indian roses that have a strong aroma. Check in to the camp and enjoy a nice relaxing message before you can cherish your adventures of the Horse Safari under the stars over a sumptuous dinner and cocktails.
Day 12: Pushkar
The day is free for the sightseeing in Pushkar visiting the Brahma temple (said to be one of the few temples in the world dedicated to this deity) Pushkar Lake, Man Mahal and Savitri temple. Take the evening for a camel Safari to the dunes at sunset and enjoy the most romantic dinner with the candle lights and under the stars.
Day 13: Pushkar - Jaipur (145 km from Jaipur, 2-3 hrs drive)
After breakfast proceed to Jaipur via Ajmer. In Ajmer visit the famous Dargah Shariff, Shah Jahan's mosque and Taragarh fort at Ajmer. On arrival in Jaipur check in to the hotel and the evening is free for shopping or to laze around.
Day 14: Jaipur
Full day sightseeing of Jaipur which includes places of interest like the City Palace, Jaigarh Fort, Hawa Mahal, Jantar Mantar and Amber Fort. The steep approach to the Amber Palace gives you an opportunity to enjoy an elephant ride up the hill like a King and a Queen with a scintillating view of the lake below surrounded by hills. On at the hotel in Jaipur.
Day 15 : Jaipur – Delhi (260 km from Jaipur, 4-5 hrs drive)
After breakfast check out of the hotel and proceed to Delhi Airport as per your further flight.
