Day 1 : Delhi
Welcome to the political and Cultural Capital of India … Delhi. A warm Indian welcome by your Tour manager at the airport and an escorted transfer to your hotel. Stay at the hotel in Delhi.
Day 2 : Delhi – Agra (200 km from Delhi, 4 hrs. drive)
After breakfast, check out of the hotel and proceed for a city tour covering -Taj Mahal – a poem written in white marble, the most extravagant monument ever built for love, Red Fort of Agra to get the feel of the luxuries and majesty of the Mughal Empire, Itmad-ud-Daula’s Tomb – The tomb is of particular interest since many of its design elephants overshadow the Taj. Overnight at the hotel in Agra.
Day 3 : Agra – Jaipur (230 km from Agra, 5-5.5 hrs drive)
After breakfast check out of the hotel and proceed to Jaipur. On the way, visit the town of Fatehpur Sikri which was once the capital city of Mughal Emperor Akbar and abode of the famous muslim shrine of Sufi Saint Salim Chisti. Major attractions of Fatehpur Sikri are Jama Masjid, Buland Darwaza, Panch Mahal, Palace of Jodha Bai and Birbal Bhawan. Arrival in Jaipur by evening and check in to the hotel.
Day 4 : Jaipur
Full day sightseeing of Jaipur which includes places of interest like the City Palace, Jaigarh Fort, Hawa Mahal, Jantar Mantar and Amber Fort. The steep approach to the Amber Palace gives you an opportunity to enjoy an elephant ride up the hill like a King and a Queen with a scintillating view of the lake below surrounded by hills. Late evening free for shopping. On at the hotel in Jaipur.
Day 5 : Jaipur – Delhi (260 km from Jaipur, 5 hrs drive)
After breakfast check out of the hotel and proceed by surface to Delhi. Check into the hotel and in the afternoon proceed on sightseeing of New Delhi – India Gate - The memorial of martyrs, Parliament House – The Government Headquarters, Jama Masjid - The largest mosque in Asia, Red Fort - The red stone magic, Gandhi memorial – The memoir of father of the nation beside these some other places to visit are - Qutab Minar Complex and Humayun’s Tomb. Overnight at the hotel in Delhi.
Day 6 : Delhi - Cochin
After breakfast check out of the hotel and proceed to the airport to board your flight to Cochin. Cochin popularly called as the 'Queen of the Arabian Sea'. The cluster of islands and the narrow peninsula makes it a unique place. It was earlier a famous seaport and the influence of the Chinese, Jew and the Arabs can be easily witnessed in the culture of the natives in Cochin. Check in hotel and later on move out for the local tour. Visit the famous Dutch Palace, Chinese Fishing Nets, Fort Cochin, Jewish Synagogue, St.Francis Church - the oldest church in India, etc. Later on return back to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 7 : Cochin – Kumarakom (90 km from Cochin, 2 hrs drive)
Morning after breakfast, drive to Kumarakom. It is the famous backwater destinations in Kerala which is situated on the Vembanad Lake. It is also a part of Kerala's rice bowl, the Kuttanad region and is ideal for the backwater cruises. The fascination for tourists at Kumarakom is the bird Sanctuary here spread across 14 acres which is a favorite haunt of migratory birds like egrets, darters, herons, teal, waterfowl, cuckoo, wild duck and Siberian stork. Overnight at the hotel in Kumarakom.
Day 8 : Kumarakom - Alleppey (Houseboat Cruise)
No Kumarakom trip is complete without a backwater cruise on a houseboat. After breakfast, check-in at the Kettuvalloms, the large country boats, often measuring 80 feet and more, made from planks of Anjili wood, stitched together using coir ropes, and coated with a black resin made from boiled cashew kernels incorporating a huge bed room, a toilet, a kitchenette and an open balcony. Stay overnight at the houseboat cruising from Kumarakom to Alleppey.
Day 9 : Alleppey
Morning after breakfast, check out of the houseboat at Alleppey as you would have reached there by then. Board the cab and drive to Alleppey resort. Alleppey is the other famous backwater destination in Kerala. Check in resort and later on move out for the local tour of Alleppey. Visit the Alleppey beach, Kuttanad - the rice bowl of kerala, etc. Later on return back to the resort for an overnight stay.
Day 10 : Alleppey - Kovalam (180 km from Allepey, 5 hrs drive)
Morning after breakfast, check out the houseboat at Alleppey as you would have reached there by then. Board the cab and drive to Kovalam, one of the most popular beaches in Kerala. This beach is divided into three parts. The name Kovalam means grove of coconut trees and it is true to its name. On reaching Kovalam check in beach resort and spend the rest of the day at leisure.
Day 11 : Kovalam
Morning after breakfast, drive out for the local tour of Kovalam. Visit the Kovalam beach, Padmanabhapuram Palace, Kaudiar Palace, Napier Museum, etc. Later on return back to the resort for an overnight stay.
Day 12 : Kovalam - Trivandrum
Morning after breakfast, drive to Trivanduram airport to proceed towards your onwards journey.
